Senior Graphic Designer
Responsibilities

Wireframe and design static, responsive and interactive infographics.

Research, interpret and organize data for visualizations.

Work with team to brainstorm, plan and design creative internal projects for marketing
-
Work on packaging, print, digital, social media, video, experiential, and other projects across the entire portfolio of brands.

Create original illustrations of objects, icons, characters, and fill creative needs on a variety of projects.
-
Hand lettering of headlines and copy in printed and digital mediums.
-
Apply a flexible approach creating artwork that follows a variety of styles, brand standards, and art direction.
-
Participate in creative concepts and develop ideas with other creatives.

Join the project team to present and pitch creative ideas to clients.
-
Provide studio manager with scoping estimates of illustration projects. And help calibrate schedules and deliverables as needed.

Track project hours in timesheet system to ensure that project hours are accurately tracked.

Establish and ensure high standards of creative execution and brand standards.

Manage your workload and capacity. Flag the need to bring in additional illustrators/freelancers when workload needs dictate.
Requirements
-
BFA or MFA in Design/Illustration or equivalent training.
-
5+ years of experience working inside agencies and/or in-house creative departments.
-
A proven track record developing illustration assets and designs for well-known brands (CPG experience is a plus).

A portfolio showcasing original creative and illustration work across a variety of brands, media, and styles.

Expert knowledge of the Adobe CS, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and production workflow.

A skilled storyteller who understands how to communicate stories and information through drawings and animation.
-
Experience as an illustrator in a marketing agency or in-house creative department.
-
Extensive knowledge of different illustration styles including photo-realistic, characters, hand-lettering, cartoon, animation, and others.

Able to flex style to fit a variety of brand voices.

Skilled at a variety of illustration tools including hand drawing, painting, lettering, and digital illustration.

Experience creating production-ready illustration and artwork files for print and digital projects.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, along with a strong comfort level in presentations. Know when to turn off email and have a real conversation.

Ability to quickly ideate and comfortable working in loose conceptual sketches, and able to quickly move to presentation-ready comps.

Familiarity with motion graphics and interactivity and experience with infographic or information design.

Knowledge of HTML/CSS (extra bonus points for JavaScript)
